Results speak louder than words.

Most recently, a client company released one of our PRs. The client had only started trading 2 days earlier, and had an average volume of approximately 300,000 shares/day, and was trading between $0.10 and $0.15. On the day of its release, the volume was approximately 1,400,000 (almost 5X its average volume) and in the next three days the stock traded at a high of $0.85.

In another recent release, a client company released one of our PRs and the public reaction overwhelmed their server and their site crashed! Too much traffic.

At AsSeenOnTV, Inc. which was founded by his life-long friend, Kevin Harrington (former Star of ABC’s “Shark Tank”), our Founder helped launch the private company, raising millions and was primarily responsible for taking the company public and shepherding its rise from $0.10/share to in excess of $1.50/share.

          Prior to the issuance of press release drafted by our Founder, regarding the company’s deal with 50 Cent, the company was trading an average of 20,000 shares/day between $0.10 and $0.15/share.

          After our Founder negotiated and closed a deal to bring 50 Cent’s line of products to the company (along wth arranging for 50 Cent to become a large investor in the company) the company issued one of our press releases and the volume shot up to 20 MILLION shares traded in 1 week (4X the float!)… and the stock price hit a high in excess of $1.50 cents!

Earlier, back during the dot.com boom, while our Founder was President and Chairman of a public company which possessed exclusive rights to a compression technology, he oversaw the company’s rise in stock price from under $2/ share to over $30 per share.

In the public companies he was involved in, he wrote every press release (approved by outside SEC counsel externally and the CEO and Board internally); in the infomercial and direct response television companies, he also wrote and directed numerous short form TV commercials and web advertising & promotional materials and videos, for internet and retail distribution channels.

Our Consulting Background

Our Founder has recently been a consultant to a varied array of public companies, acting as a liaison between their Boards and Officers and their respective companies’ outside SEC, Litigation and General Counsels, and has served as a consultant & advisor to various emerging companies, to help steer them through the process to becoming publicly traded (via IPO or Reverse Merger).

He has been in the infomercial industry almost since its inception. His first position was General Counsel and Executive VP of Product Development for his long time friend, Kevin Harrington (former Star of ABC’s “Shark Tank”) at Quantum Marketing International (Ginzu Knives, The Great Wok Of China, The Daily Mixer and an enormous array of various exercise equipment, cosmetic, self-help and other products and services). He joined them shortly after its launch and helped administer its rise as it became an international success story, with revenues of $150 million in its first year.

He helped fashion the legal framework of the fledgling infomercial industry, designing and developing forms of deals that are now commonplace in the DRTV arena (including, celebrity endorsements; the first agreements granting the company participation and/or exclusive rights in all vertical markets for a product from TV through retail; and the first international licensing deals in the TV direct response industry).

He also has many years experience in the direct response mail & television industries. In 1978, while still in law school, he was an in-house marketing counsel and Director of Advertising Compliance for a leading direct response insurance company, creating DRTV spots and mailings with Arthur Godfrey and Danny Thomas. (Yes… he likes to say he’s “experienced” not “old”!)

He has helped raise millions of dollars in the offices of Wall Street and in countless brokerages and boardrooms.

Besides IR/PR matters, he also consults with various companies to help them negotiate, design and close mergers & acquisitions, celebrity endorsements and many other types of corporate transactions.

Bio Of Our Founder

At the start of his career, he graduated with a B.A. in Drama, with minors in Journalism & Psychology. Then he went to Law School, where he was the External Managing Editor of the Law Review. During Law school, he was an in-house marketing counsel for a leading direct response insurance company, and helped create DRTV spots.

After graduating Law School (1978) and opening a law firm, he decided to return to the marketing/advertising arena and sold his law firm to his then partner and started working for Comcast (now XFINITY) when it was a small local cable company just starting out in the Philadelphia suburbs. There he wrote, produced, directed and edited their commercials (for local/regional/national insertion) then switched over to Gerry Lenfest’s group and did the same for its CableAdNet Group.

                  

Shortly thereafter, Kevin Harrington asked Michael to join him as his General Counsel, in Kevin’s breakout first multi-million dollar infomercial company, Quantum Marketing, Inc.

It was a perfect fit for his blend of interests and experiences!

He joined Quantum shortly after its launch and helped administer its rise, as it became an international success story. (Quantum went from startup to $150 million in revenues in its first year.)

In that role, he helped fashion the legal framework of this fledgling industry designing and developing forms of deals that are now commonplace in the DRTV arena (including, celebrity endorsements; the first agreements granting the company participation and/or exclusive rights in all vertical markets for a product from TV through retail; and the first international licensing deals in the TV direct response industry).
